We spent a fantastic day out in Elan Valley to shoot a cover for the book which I am submitting for use. My husband, daughters and Mom! spent a cold day with our good friends, the McNally's whose daughter, Tara is shown posing as 'my Lily.'
Tara thoroughly enjoyed her star status for the day and patiently let us take numerous shots of her, even though she was cold. Bless her!

The views are truly breathtaking
The McNally's Mugshot
Mom auditioning for a part as a gnome
Tara wasn't the only poser - my Lauren getting into the spirit of things

This photo came a close second for my cove

Another shot of Tara beside a waterfall

Little Em decided that Tara had been on camera enough, so she decided to get in on the act finally

About the novel - Lily of the Valley

Thrown together by tragedy, torn apart by betrayal

ISBN: 1 843862 01 8 (What's This?)

It's a compelling story of love, loss, betrayal and courage (what more could you want?)

Set in England 1904 in a village near the Welsh Borders it tells the story of Lily a kind, yet feisty, 15 year old whose life changes forever as she takes up a position at Aberbaydon House. Her life is nearly shattered when it is struck by a double tragedy and she is left alone to cope with the devastation caused by these. Only the support of her friends and the kindness of the Master, Luther Morgan, save her from a permanent breakdown.

Lily seeks solace in her work at the House thinking she is safe there, but unknown to her she has an enemy in the Luther's older sister who resides at the house.

Lily and Luther embark on an affair, but when they are found out she is forced to leave.

Lily realises that yet again she has lost a loved one, but there is more at stake and she must use all of her courage to fight to keep what is rightfully hers.
